NiP over CW to win Cup #1

03.09.2023

The RaidCall EMS One is back for its third season! Our first CS:GO cup will feature top teams such as NiP, VeryGames, Copenhagen Wolves and Natus Vincere – $1000 and valuable cup ranking points are on the line.

At 19:00 CEST, ESL TV goes live with Paul 'ReDeYe' Chaloner and Lauren 'Pansy' Scott, bringing you the first three rounds of our cup. Noteworthy matches include the German team 3DMAX going up against Vikings and walla walla wisp wackers, the new team of Joona 'natu' Leppänen, facing Team Refuse (aka. iNation) with the winner being matched with n!faculty in round 2.

In the quarter finals, we could potentially get to see highly interesting match-ups: VeryGames is in the same part of the bracket as Natus Vincere and Copenhagen Wolves could go up against the new team around Jacob 'Pimp' Winneche (playing under their old WW tag).

UPDATE1: We have seen some great matches today, including Playing Ducks upsetting Team Alternate and Natus Vincere and then falling to VeryGames with a score of 13:16. Our semi finals on Wednesday will be NiP vs. fnatic and VeryGames vs. Copenhagen Wolves – we go live at 19:00 CEST!

UPDATE2: What an incredible final match! The Copenhagen Wolves looked extremely strong against VeryGames and then put up one hell of a fight against NiP. They won the first map with 16-14 and went into the second overtime on de_mirage_ce – but eventually, the Ninjas prevailed and secured the victory in a grand final that definitely deserves this name.
