Alliance to qualify through Gr. B

15.10.2023
This week, the champions of The International 2013, Alliance, will join the action in the RaidCall EMS One. Their opponents will be Flip.Sid3 Tactics, Team Menace and against All authority – and only two teams can go through to the live event finals.

UPDATE: Alliance is the first team in Group B to secure their spot at the RaidCall EMS One DOTA2 Finals. The Swedes won their first match against a surprisingly competitive aAa and then faced Flip.Sid3 Tactics around Sébastien '7ckngMad' Debs. They won the first map very quickly, but then fell to the Denmark-based team in the second round, making it 1–1. They did not lose another round, though, and thus qualify for the LAN finals, where they are going to meet Natus Vincere, Fnatic and many more.

Meanwhile, Flip.Sid3 Tactics is going to go up against Team Menace one second time next Monday, fighting to become the second team to make it out of Group B.

At 17:00 CEST, we go live with the first match of the day: The Swedish superstars will take on aAa. The French team attended the last RaidCall EMS One DOTA2 Finals under name Imaginary Gaming, but going up against the arguably best team in the world is certainly more than challenging.

Three hours later, the new team of Adrian 'FATA-' Trinks and Sébastien '7ckngMad' Debs, who currently go under the name Flip.Sid3 Tactics, will face Team Menace. Even though the Finnish side has improved a lot over the course of the last two RaidCall EMS One seasons, the Denmark-based roster is said to be the favourite going into this match. Either way, all four teams will continue their journey tomorrow at 19:00 CEST with the winner's match and the loser's match.

Prediction by Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin, Natus Vincere:

"I don't know all teams too well, but I think that Alliance will take the first place. They show extremely good plays, as I got to experience myself. The second place will most likely go to Flip.Q – they are oldschool and they play quite good, they have some unique strategies."
